I have partnered with female-founded ceramicist Argilo to create a tactile amphora to hold 100ml of your favourite Palm of Feronia elixir. Taking inspiration from ancient vessels, the amphora comes in a smooth glaze with a hand-rolled spherical stopper which doubles as a tool to roll around palms and feet to aid your self-massage.
The Maker
Argilo is a small female-owned business based in Cornwall, specialising in handmade ceramics. Argilo ceramic wares are inspired by the warmth and soul of the Mediterranean, by the earthy vistas and slow ways of living. The vessels are devoted to simplicity and everyday functionality, using a warm and natural palette that echo these places. Spending time in the Mediterranean feeds the soul; a place where the senses come alive with joy and warmth.
The Vessel
Simply pour your oil or toner into the amphora to store. Please be aware that the sphere does not create a tight seal but is intended to keep out dust, so will need to be kept upright and in a safe place.
The Amphora is dishwasher safe although hand washing is recommended. Jaye makes every piece by hand so subtle differences may occur.
