Available exclusively at Salad Days Market - Sunday 2nd August - at the Ministry.
Hand-thrown stoneware pot, made individually in south east London. Each piece is thrown, trimmed, glazed and finished by hand, making every piece subtly different.
This piece has a small imperfection to the interior, making it better suited to decorative use. I've chosen to include it in the collection because I still love the form and finish, but have reflected this in the price.

About this piece
Each ceramic piece is thrown, trimmed, glazed and finished by hand in my London studio. No two are ever exactly alike. Small variations in shape, glaze, texture and finish are an inherent part of the making and firing process, making each piece completely unique.
Care
This piece is made from high-fired stoneware and is food safe.
Although dishwasher safe, I recommend gentle hand washing where possible, particularly for handled pieces, to help preserve the finish and reduce unnecessary knocks over time.
Avoid sudden changes in temperature (for example, pouring boiling water into a very cold piece), as thermal shock can cause ceramics to crack.
A note on handmade ceramics
Every piece is individually made by hand rather than cast or moulded. You may notice subtle irregularities, tiny glaze variations, pinholes or movement in the form. These are not faults, but part of the character of handmade ceramics and a record of the making process.
