A fully handmade, refillable leather journal crafted from deadstock green patina leather with pale teal elastic detailing and an oversized silver eyelet spiral. Designed to soften and develop character with use, each piece is intended to be carried daily, filled slowly, and kept for years to come.

The spiral is built from individually set silver eyelets, adding a simple decorative detail to the cover whilst remaining practical and durable for everyday use.

Crafted from a limited run of deadstock leather, once this material is gone it won't be repeated. Supplied with three lined notebook inserts and one gridded notebook insert. Made slowly by hand in small batches.

A return to making

This journal sits within a wider return to craft for me. This year, my focus has shifted toward making with hands rather than screens, toward time, material and repetition. I'm interested to create objects that shape slowly through use, rather than designed to stay perfect. The Patina Journal is part of that movement back to the analog.

Caring for your journal

This journal is crafted in leather that is designed to be used rather than protected. Marks and scratches will appear with handling and gradually blend into the surface over time. If the leather looks dry, a small amount of neutral leather balm can be applied with a soft cloth. Avoid water where possible and allow the journal to age naturally through use.

Truly Handcrafted

Each Patina Journal is made slowly by my hands in South East London. From cutting the leather to finishing the final details, every piece is worked on individually rather than produced at scale.

They are made in small batches, shaped by the time and care involved in making them by hand rather than at volume or speed. I truly hope this craft and care brings value to your everyday.
