Counterpoint 6 – Garnet & Bowenite Necklace

Every Adorned necklace is hand-strung by me using natural gemstones and sterling silver.

To help your piece last as long as possible, please keep it away from water. This includes showering, bathing, swimming, hot tubs and the sea. Although the jewellery wire I use is strong and designed for everyday wear, repeated exposure to water, moisture and salt will gradually cause it to corrode over time. Eventually this can weaken the wire and cause it to snap. Unfortunately this kind of wear isn't always visible until it happens. I also recommend removing your necklace before exercising or sleeping, and allowing perfume, lotions and skincare to absorb before putting it on.

When you're not wearing your jewellery, store it somewhere dry, ideally in the cotton pouch provided.

Sterling silver will naturally develop a soft patina over time, which can easily be polished if you'd like to restore its shine.

Most Adorned pieces are one of a kind, so once they've sold they won't be remade exactly or restocked. If a piece is marked as sold out, it has found its home.

If you've fallen in love with a particular piece, I may be able to create something inspired by it using similar stones and colours. No two necklaces are ever identical, but that's part of what makes each one special.

The length of each necklace is listed on the product page, so please check the measurements before ordering. Everyone's neck sits a little differently, so if you're unsure I'd always recommend measuring a necklace you already own and comparing it with the listed length.

If you'd like a necklace made a little longer or shorter, or you'd like an existing piece altered, just get in touch before ordering. Most adjustments are possible for a small fee, depending on the design.

Every Adorned necklace is made by me in small edits or as a one-off.

Many pieces use stones that I've collected over months or even years, so once a necklace has sold, I often can't recreate it exactly.

Sometimes I'll make something similar if I have comparable stones available, but I don't produce collections that are continually restocked. I prefer each piece to have its own story.

Jewellery is made to be worn, and with enough wear it may eventually need restringing or repairing.
