About this piece
Each ceramic piece is thrown, trimmed, glazed and finished by hand in my London studio. No two are ever exactly alike. Small variations in shape, glaze, texture and finish are an inherent part of the making and firing process, making each piece completely unique.
Care
Hand washing is recommended to help preserve the finish and protect the piece from accidental knocks. While the stoneware is fully vitrified, treating handmade ceramics with a little extra care will help them be enjoyed for many years to come.A note on handmade ceramics
A note on handmade ceramics
Every piece is individually made by hand rather than cast or moulded. You may notice subtle irregularities, tiny glaze variations, pinholes or movement in the form. These are not faults, but part of the character of handmade ceramics and a record of the making process.
Handled pieces
The sculptural handles are carefully attached by hand and are strong for everyday use, but they are more delicate than a standard factory-made mug. Please carry and wash them with care, avoid knocks against hard surfaces, and do not lift heavy stacked items by the handle.
