A cacao blend named after Aphrodite, made with raw Peruvian cacao, ashwagandha, maca and wild chaga, with Moroccan rose petals and Madagascan bourbon vanilla. Rich, chocolatey and lightly floral, and purposely unsweetened.

Whisk two teaspoons into hot milk for a proper hot chocolate, let it cool and pour over ice in summer, or stir into oats, smoothies, yoghurt or baking. Formulated by Emma Marigold of ARTÁ, a medical herbalist and Ayurvedic practitioner.

About the blend

Cacao has been drunk in Central and South America for thousands of years. Here it’s blended with ashwagandha and maca, both used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Andean traditions, and chaga, a mushroom long brewed in Northern Europe and Siberia.

ARTÁ

Formulated by ARTÁ - founded by Emma Marigold, a medical herbalist & Ayurvedic practitioner. Where west meets east, Emma practices traditional western herbal medicine which originates from Ancient Greece & Ayurvedic medicine from India. Both these cultures sit close in the heart of ARTÁ & influence many aspects of this growing community.

I started out making things to help people slow down. These days I’m more interested in what comes after that: making with your hands, being in a room with people, and things you actually use rather than save for best.
