A leather carry object made from offcut Crazy Horse leather, finished with a metal eyelet, carabiner fastening, and a studded spiral detail.
These pieces were created as part of an ongoing effort to use up leather scraps from other studio projects. Each one is cut, assembled and finished by hand, allowing the material to be used thoughtfully rather than discarded.
Designed to clip easily onto keys, bags, or belt loops. Solid, tactile, and reassuring in the hand. The spiral at the base is a small gesture of continuity and return, a symbol of transformation, but also re-ise and making do with what’s already here.
Crazy Horse leather is chosen for its durability and character. Over time it will soften, mark, and deepen in colour, developing a patina that reflects how it’s carried and used. Each piece is unique. Variations in tone, markings, and finish are part of the material’s story.
Care
Avoid prolonged contact with water or moisture, as this may affect the leather over time. To maintain the natural finish, keep the piece dry and store it away from direct sunlight when not in use.
The leather will soften and deepen in tone with handling - a natural patina that reflects its use. Stainless steel components can be gently polished with a soft cloth if needed.
