Gyokuro is a premium tea from the Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan, grown at elevations of 500 to 1,500 feet above sea level. Using an ancient technique, the leaves are covered with bamboo and straw to increase chlorophyll and reduce tannins before gentle steaming, resulting in a sweeter tea with reduced bitterness.
This light, fragrant green tea offers a refreshing, balanced flavour. Naturally low in caffeine, it’s ideal for morning rituals. A 40g pouch provides 16 cups, or 32 with a second brew.
