Our Story
Palm of Feronia is a small-batch studio creating objects for skin, home and self. The work began from a personal place, and has grown slowly over time, shaped by changing materials, interests and ways of making.
Over time, both the work and I have evolved. What began as something soft and contained has gradually expanded into a more expressive, material-led practice, bringing the studio back into alignment with how I create today.
Making
Founded and led by Soph Harding, the studio is grounded in a hands-on, intuitive approach to creating, where I work closely with material, scent and process, developing each piece slowly, in small batches, and with a close attention to how it is made and how it will be used.
Tending
Care is approached as a rhythm rather than a routine, with the work designed to support small, ongoing moments of pause, connection and return, encouraging you to tend to yourself and your space in a way that feels both natural and sustainable.
Material
Ingredients and materials are chosen with care and intention, with a focus on quality, origin and how they feel in use, and everything is made with transparency in mind, allowing you to better understand what you are using and how it supports your everyday.
Everything is made in small batches in the South East London studio, allowing for a close and ongoing relationship to material, process and pace, and what continues to unfold is not a fixed identity but an evolving practice, shaped through care, curiosity and the act of tending.
Care as a rhythm, not a routine.
