Patina Green Spiral Field Journal

Sale price

A refillable leather journal in a smaller, pocket format. Made using vegetable tanned leather in a green patina finish with natural variation across the surface. Finished with a mini spiral of silver-tone eyelets set by hand.
The spiral is a form that appears often in the studio’s work, a quiet reference to movement, return and continuation. Here it’s scaled down, sitting more subtly within the piece.
Designed for everyday use, the journal holds four pocket-sized lined inserts, allowing pages to be replaced as they fill. Each piece is finished with an elastic closure and intended to be used, carried and worn in over time.
Handmade in South East London.

A return to making
This journal sits within a wider return to craft for me. This year, my focus has shifted toward making with hands rather than screens, toward time, material and repetition. I'm interested to create objects that shape slowly through use, rather than designed to stay perfect. These journals are part of that movement back to the analog.
Truly Handcrafted
Each Journal is made slowly by my hands in South East London. From cutting the leather to finishing the final details, every piece is worked on individually rather than produced at scale.
They are made in small batches, shaped by the time and care involved in making them by hand rather than at volume or speed. I truly hope this craft and care brings value to your everyday.
